300hr Advanced Yoga Teacher Training

APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN!

For those who know yoga is more than a physical practice - and are no longer satisfied with it being taught as less.

You’ve already done your 200hr...

You may be teaching - full time, part time, or only occasionally.

Or you may not be teaching at all (despite years of committed training and practice).

What you do know is that yoga once touched something deep - not just in your body, but in how you saw yourself and the world - and lately that depth feels harder to find.

The industry is loud. Trends move quickly. Studios are closing. And it’s increasingly difficult to find teachers, spaces, or trainings that offer substance rather than surface.

Perhaps you feel burnout: too many classes, too little nourishment, and a creeping sense of becoming a facilitator of shapes rather than a steward of a living tradition.

Perhaps you feel frustrated: you’ve studied, practiced, and listened deeply but can’t quite find a teacher, lineage, or container that has the answer to the questions you’re actually asking.

And underneath that is another feeling…

Yoga changed you - at the level of your nervous system, your relationships, the way you create meaning - and so you don’t want to relate to it in a way that feels thin, performative or disconnected from that truth.

This training begins there.

Not with techniques (though we’ll study many); with a shared understanding that yoga is not a fitness system, it’s a technology of liberation – an embodied philosophical and spiritual tradition designed to reshape how we experience reality and live in relationship with it.

The question this training asks is not, “How can you teach better classes?”

It’s...

WHAT IS YOGA ACTUALLY FOR, AND HOW DO WE PRACTICE AND TEACH WITH DEPTH, CLARITY AND INTEGRITY IN MODERN TIMES?

THIS TRAINING ISN'T FOR EVERYONE...

It isn’t about chasing trends, collecting certificates, or teaching louder in an already noisy industry.

And it isn’t only for people who want to teach full time.

It is for those who feel called to engage yoga more seriously, whether that shows up in how you teach, how you practice, or how you live.

It’s about teaching something substantial, or practising in a way has gravity (even when the culture around yoga does not).

It’s about developing discernment…

About understanding what belongs to tradition, what belongs to you, and what actually serves the people in front of you.

IT'S FOR YOU IF...

  •  You want to deepen your embodied understanding of yoga, not just repeat scripts or borrowed sequences
  • You understand that yoga is a philosophical and spiritual tradition, not just an exercise modality
  • You’re craving coherence: between philosophy and practice, technique and the meaning that supports it, between inner life and outer expression
  • You want support, structure, and mentorship as you deepen your relationship with yoga (whether that leads to more teaching, fewer classes, new formats, or simply a more grounded way of practicing)

FOR YOU, THIS COULD LOOK LIKE:

  • Teaching fewer studio classes, but with more intention
  • Developing retreats, trainings, or specialised offerings
  • Reconnecting to your own practice after burnout
  • Or studying yoga in a way that feels nourishing rather than extractive

If you’re looking for trendy playlists or another badge for your bio, this training isn’t for you. However, if you’re ready to relate to yoga as a living, ethical, and embodied tradition, you’re in the right place.

What this training gives you...

A COHERENT FRAMEWORK (NOT JUST MORE INFORMATION)

This training isn’t about accumulating techniques for their own sake — though you will learn many. It’s about learning how the pieces fit together.

You’ll develop the capacity to answer the questions that quietly shape everything else:

Why do we practice asana at all?
What other techniques exist, and when are they appropriate?
How do philosophy, subtle body theory, and nervous system regulation actually inform each other, and inform practice?
How do you know whether what you’re teaching (or practicing) is right, not just popular or familiar?

This is about moving from fragmented knowledge to integrated understanding so your teaching (and practice) comes from clarity rather than trend.

FEEDBACK THAT ACTUALLY HELPS YOU GROW

Most teachers remember the intensity of feedback during their 200h training. It was confronting, humbling, and transformative.

And then it disappears.

Once you’re out in the world teaching, honest feedback becomes rare. There are few senior teachers around, and even fewer spaces where reflection is welcomed rather than performed.

In this training, you’ll receive thoughtful, direct, and kind feedback, not to mould you into someone else, but to help you refine your voice, the quality of your presence, and discernment.

Growth doesn’t happen without reflection. This training has plenty of both.

MENTORSHIP THAT MEETS YOU WHERE YOU ACTUALLY ARE

As part of your assessment, you’ll work on a personal teaching or practice project.

This might be your first retreat, a workshop series, an online offering, a training, or simply a way of articulating your relationship to yoga more clearly.

Together, we’ll shape something that has depth, integrity, and longevity, so you’re not just producing content, but building a body of work that feels aligned and sustainable.

A FLEXIBLE, ROBUST FORMAT THAT RESPECTS REAL LIFE

This is a year-long, online training designed to support depth without rushing you.

You’ll have access to:

  • Pre-recorded lectures on philosophy, posture clinics, technical sessions, and guided practices
  • Teaching labs and structured feedback
  • A full 12 months of access
  • The option to study fully self-paced, or to add personalised 1:1 mentorship alongside

This training is meant to fit around your life, not compete with it.

Here's the exact content we’ll be exploring…

You already know how to design an asana class. What’s next? Learn advanced pranayama, meditation, and subtle body sequencing techniques. We'll cover advanced asana,  movements of energy, the use of mudra, bandha, mantra, kriya, yoga nidra and more. Learn to weave these techniques through three styles of asana practice (traditional hatha, flow, yin). You’ll have opportunities to practice the techniques themselves, to practice teaching those techniques, and to receive feedback on your teaching practice throughout the course.

WHY I BUILT THIS TRAINING, AND WHY NOW?

This training was born out of a moment of frustration.

About ten years ago, after several years of teaching, I had an uncomfortable realisation.

I’d stepped into a training role for a teacher training company and, from the outside, it looked like a dream job. But I felt uncomfortable.

I realised that, while I could teach the company’s curriculum, I had not yet integrated the philosophy and practice of yoga.

It seemed like philosophy lived in books, practice lived on the mat, and that the thread that connected them together was missing.

I knew something deeper existed, but I couldn’t put my finger on what.

I searched for a teacher who could connect those dots for two years before I finally found one. The moment everything came together was magic - yoga finally made sense.

I’ve never forgotten what it felt like to know there was more to yoga, but not know how to access it - or the feeling when everything came together.

This training is that bridge.

I'M KARINA

I’ve spent over a decade training teachers from around the world. I’ve taught at, and managed, big and small studios (both asana-focused and lineage-based), I've taught in-person and online, for other people, and for myself.

I’ve taught yoga for long enough to watch the industry swell, wobble, splinter, and shift.

I’ve taught too many classes, burnt out, wondered what the point was, and rebuilt.

I’ve had to re-find my centre when I felt dissolutioned, by digging deeper into the practice, over and over again.

client love

"Karina is my compass in this very confusing yoga world. I live on the other side of the world but she has always been there when I needed her.

It is amazing to have a teacher who is so knowledgeable and also has an amazing way of sharing her knowledge. She never uses mystical language to create an illusion of ‘yogicness’. She is a genuine yogi, walking her path, continuously questioning and expanding.

I am very proud to be trained by her and I am still seeking ways to learn from her."

ZEYNEP, TURKEY

"I’ve never experienced classes with more depth and wisdom. One of my favourite things about her teaching might be her gift to put sensations that are normally hard to describe into words. I used to call it Karina’s ability to “paint pictures with words“, which you can experience not only in her classes and lectures but also in written form online.

I’m very grateful to call Karina my teacher. I highly recommend learning from her. It’ll help you to dig deeper not only in your personal practice or your own way of teaching, but to evolve as a person and in life itself.”

SARAH, GERMANY

"As a teacher, Karina’s attention to detail and intentional teaching style sets her apart, but it is her knowledge, experience, and way of communicating that makes her an incredible trainer and mentor.

Karina is professional, down to earth, funny, and shares the tradition of yoga in a way that is tangible, digestible and relatable. I feel so honoured to learn from someone who demonstrates such integrity as a teacher and as a human being.

Karina embodies the teachings of yoga, which I believe is a true reflection of her own dedication and commitment to practice.

The industry is shifting. Yoga is shifting. And something in you is shifting too.

You don't want a container that feels empty of meaning. You want a container that can hold:

Your love for the practice, your questions about tradition, and the very real realities of practising or teaching yoga in the modern world.

Whether you teach full time, part time, occasionally, or not at all, this training is an invitation to relate to yoga more seriously, more honestly, and more sustainably.

If you’re ready to build something meaningful — whether that’s a body of work, a teaching path, or a deeper relationship to practice — I’d love to walk alongside you.

Frequently Asked Questions

The course begins on Saturday 28th March 2026.

You will have access to the material for 12 months.

Yes, there will be lots of opportunities for assessment and feedback throughout the course. The purpose of assessment is to develop you as a teacher and give you an opportunity to experiment, and receive feedback on ways of sharing these teachings in a thorough, integral and authentic way.

Yes, further information about this will be made available to you once your application has been accepted.

Yes, once you have successfully completed your training and assessment requirements you will receive a qualification recognised by Yoga Alliance International at the 300h level.

Because you'll be doing the course over 12 months, you'll need to set aside less than an hour a day.

50-60% of people who attend 200h teacher training programs do it solely for their own personal development. If you're not teaching, that's ok! You'll still be required to complete the assessment (including the practice teaching assignments), but you can approach it as simply a personal challenge if your intention isn't to teach.

That's actually one of the best reasons to do a 300h. What better place to experiment with, and receive feedback on, your teaching practice?! You'll be in an environment that feels safe, where your experimentation will be encouraged.

Feel free to reach out if you have questions about the course that aren't answered here 🙂 You can get to me on email at: karina@theembodimentproject.yoga
